About Pure Body Pilates

Pure Body Pilates is a fully equipped studio bringing Pilates to Cody since 2003.  We teach private, duet, small group and mat classes.

 

Pilates is a movement modality that connects the mind, body and breath.  Strengthening the body from the inside out; from the deepest stabilizing muscles outward to the power mover muscles.  Bringing strength and flexibility into each mindful movement. 

Instructors:

Sloan Allen

Sloan began her Pilates journey in the late 1980's in Boulder, CO.  She fell in love with the mat work because all you needed was your mind and body, and could do Pilates anywhere.  In 2002 she and her husband, Craig, moved to Cody, Wyoming and she became certified in mat in 2003.  Once she built a following in rural Cody, she became certified on the equipment in 2005 thru Peak Pilates.  She continues to attend workshops annually, and graduated Cara Reeser's Kathy Grant Heritage Training in June 2018.  She is the co-owner of Pure Body Pilates with her husband, Craig.  Sloan enjoys the outdoors; hiking with her dogs, biking, paddle boarding, nordic skiing and snowboarding.

Craig Allen

Craig, a longtime skateboarder, snowboarder and mountain biker, was introduced to Pilates by Sloan.  Who suggested that it may help his various aches and pains from numerous surgeries, and life in general.  He appreciated the strength and flexibility Pilates provided.  Craig was certified thru Peak Pilates in 2008, has continued to attend workshops annually, and graduated Cara Reeser's Kathy Grant Heritage Training in June 2018.  He co-owns Pure Body Pilates with his wife, Sloan. Craig enjoys staying active biking, hiking, nordic skiing and snowboarding.
